My new name

Elli is making some progress with her words lately. She can now say "Bubbles" perfectly, and talks about her "balls" and "bows." (Noticing a trend here? She really likes the letter "b", apparently.)

We've been trying to talk with her about letters, since her favorite Elmo video has a section on letters and numbers. She's learned all about the letter "O" from it, and she has learned that "m" is also an answer to the question, "What letters do you know, Elli?" Jeremy's taught her that "M" is for "Mama," so sometimes that all comes out in one big word -- "M ah Mama!"

But her favorite word continues to be "Elmo" (properly said in a group of three for emphasis -- i.e., "Elmo, Elmo, Elmo!"). She says it so much that it takes a little doing for her to say something with an "m" sound in it without her reverting to talking to about Elmo. Hence, my new name: "El-mom-o"

I kind-of like it... :-)
