An Answer

So for the uninformed, Sesame Street now contains a segment called "Elmo's World" that is highly formulaic, and is, therefore, highly engaging for young kids.

Elmo comes in, he sings his Elmo's World song, and then he talks about what he's thinking about today.  He and his goldfish, Dorothy, then proceed to ask Mr. or Miss Noodle something about the topic of the day, which they try to answer in a very goofy fashion.  Then Elmo says, 'Now Dorothy wants to know how you _____" 

So then it switches to vignettes of various children saying, "Hi, Dorothy.  This is how I ____. (Insert an explanation and demonstration here)"

Apparently, Elli is either in her own version of Elmo's World, or is practicing her audition.
